Good Morning “Fearless”. Today we are in Psalm 27.
David is a fearless warrior! Not because he is so strong but because God is ALL POWERFUL and is with Him. David knows when he’s in check with God he’s got NOTHING to fear. David had learned to take comfort simply by being in The Lords presence worshiping, and praising Him.
God is The Rock! The bedrock upon which we can build a firm foundation such that when the storms of life come and our enemies pursue… we will not be shaken. David had been through some storms. He understood Gods merciful discipline through them. He understood that even in the midst God was always there - maybe then more than ever.
Totally the opposite with those that choose to build their foundation upon the sand - the things this world promises. There’s no substance. No real firmness in the sand. When the storms come they are tossed, easily swept up in it as waves wash away the sand.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27 NIV
Really only two choices before us. Build our lives upon The Rock or the sand. We get to choose. I encourage you to choose The Rock! Check Psalm 32 & 51
Love you all! Dig in!
