Good Morning “Observers of Gods Sovereignty.” Today we are in Job 37.
We know God holds it all and is in control of it all. We say it often, but does it really sink in? Throughout the book of Job we see descriptions of the depth of Gods intimate involvement in EVERYTHING. We saw it yesterday day with CH. 36
Atheists believe there is no God, no Creator, no Curator. They typically believe everything has coincidentally evolved - happens by chance. The world operates by its own a series of actions and reactions. One deep look at the intricacies of the world around us, humanity, even just the cell - and it’s laughable to assume it “just happened”. The logical conclusion is a Creator. Romans 1:18- tells us that because God has revealed His Glory all around us man is without excuse.
Diest’s believe there was a Creator… but that’s about it. Someone wound it all up like a clock, but now it’s just ticking along. Equally hard, I would say impossible, to believe if we pay attention to all that goes on around us.
Truth…
God is in COMPLETE control. He formed us cell by cell (Psalm 139:13-16). He gives us life and breath, sustains us, and even causes us to move in every way (Genesis 2:7, Acts 17:25-28). He controls the processes of the earth (Psalm 135:7, 147:15-18) and the people on it - even Kings (Proverbs 21:1). Yes, if trouble comes upon a city… He too is in control (Amos 3:6).
In fact He, our God is in FULL CONTROL of EVERYTHING (Psalm 135:6, Proverbs 16:9). Wrap your mind around His sovereignty as you read Job 37.
