Job 25

Good Morning “Impossible on Our Own.”  Today we are in Job 25.

Bildad responds to Job, and he’s far from nice.  In his face is an understatement.

“How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?”
‭‭Job‬ ‭25‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s a rhetorical question… we cannot possibly be righteous before God as a mortal.

“If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot— a human being, who is only a worm!””
‭‭Job‬ ‭25‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The answer… Jesus, He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life (John 14:6).

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Without Jesus it is impossible to be right with God or appear righteous before Him or please Him (Hebrews 11:6).  However; through Jesus blood, His righteousness is imparted to us when we receive Him.
(Romans 4:18-25, Romans 5:18-19, Romans 3:22)
