Romans 10

Good Morning “Beautiful Feet.”  Check out Romans 10. Powerful stuff here!

From Romans 1 we know that the Truth of God has been revealed to all of mankind since the beginning - so that we are without excuse.  We see Him in all of Creation.  We call that General Revelation, and it is sufficient for condemnation.  General Revelation isn’t however sufficient for Salvation.  In other words, in order to be saved we need a special encounter - Special Revelation.  No one comes unless they are called - that’s Gods part.  With God revealed all around us, and the call on our heart, it should compel us to seek Him out.  But then we gotta have the Gospel!  The Gospel - according to Rom 1:16 It is the power to salvation.  Once we hear, only then we can respond.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭

The confessing with your mouth is the action produced by your true belief.  We often talk about the reality that true belief always results in action.  But, who’s responsible for telling those who are seeking?  Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8 among other verses says it’s our responsibility.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬-‭15‬

How beautiful are your feet?  You bringing that Good News?  Don’t miss out on the incredible blessing it is to be used by God to share Jesus!

Love you all!  Dig in.
