Good Morning Soft Hearted Receivers of The Truth. Check out Acts 28
Paul ends up preaching in Rome - as he had set out to do. For two years he taught them about Jesus. Some believed but some didn’t - just as Isaiah prophesied!
““ ‘Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’”
Acts 28:26-27 NIV
Tell me you have not become calloused. You hear The Word, but does it sink in? Is it the Foundation for all you believe? Does it instruct how you live? Does it make you who you are? That’s the intent.
You can listen to an incredible message, even read The Bible daily, but if you do not receive it, believe it and allow The Holy Spirit to change you with it - you’re missing it!
Don’t be that person. First step - dive in! Then, let it sink in!
