Paul is still in prison in Caesarea, but the Jews would love to see him killed. They petition now Governor Festus to send him back to Jerusalem for trial - so that that might kill him. There’s a problem though. They can find NO evidence that Paul did any of the things they are claiming.
Paul had lived his life after his conversion serving God by sharing the Good News of Jesus… they simply didn’t like it. That’s it! Paul had honored their customs and respected the Jews in such a way that they had no real evidence against him.
What’s the application for us? Live your life above board! Stay so far away from “the line” that even if someone was to accuse you of something it would get laughed off. Live a life of integrity and your character will speak for its self.
