Acts 13

Good Morning Fearless, Faithful, Followers.  Dig into Acts 13 and catch their passion.

Saul who once was one of the persecutors, seemingly leading the charge, one of the most unlikely to be chosen to serve - was to be minister to the Gentiles.  Now together with Barnabas they are officially commissioned in the POWER of The Holy Spirit.  It was happening, just as God told Ananias in Acts 9:15, when he was afraid to go to Saul.  “But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.”

Check it out:
“While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.”  Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭2‬-‭3‬

With every new convert, resistance grew.  Saul of all people, knew what they were capable of - yet they continued faithful.  The Jewish leaders plotted, and plotted, even stirring up God fearing women rise up.  They went to town after town preaching the Word of God, the Gospel of Jesus.  Each time they were kicked out, they dusted off their sandals as they were instructed and moved on.

How do you keep going when people are against you?  I fear we have gotten soft, or perhaps we’re just not finding our strength through the Holy Spirit as they did.  That’s their secret!  That’s the answer.

We don’t have to do it alone - we’ve got the Holy Spirit.  We just gotta get out of our own way.  It’s not about us, it’s about Him!

Dig in guys!  Check it out!  Love you all!
