Good Morning “In the Light Walkers.” Take a look at John 3 today.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Because of sin our default destination is Hell. It’s not harsh - it’s just a fact. God provided the way out - Jesus. Jesus is the only way - John 14:6.
John explains that those who BELIEVE in Him are no longer condemned, but those who reject Him stand condemned already. He then goes on to say…
“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.”
John 3:19-20 NIV
I wonder… is that maybe what’s keeping you from going all in? We know that sin brings conviction, and the feeling of conviction stinks. Adam and Eve pulled away and separated themselves from God when they sinned. God did not leave them. They sinned, their eyes were opened, and then they hid from God in the trees when He came for their daily stroll in the garden. He knew they had sinned, but He still came. They hid. Genesis 3
Are you afraid to fully give your life to Jesus because you’ve got sin you’re dealing with? We’ve all sinned. Rom 3:23 That’s the reason Jesus did what He did. Go all in and let Him clean you from the inside out. It’s what He does.
Love you all! Dig in!
