Luke 4

Good Morning Faithful Lovers of People.  Today we look at Luke 4.

As I study Luke 4, it strikes me just how busy Jesus was.  Everywhere He went, while facing opposition, He continued to love on everyone He came across!  Life it’s self can be exhausting at times, then throw into the mix ministering to the hurting and lost.  How did Jesus do it?  How did He keep going and going and going and going?

Towards the end of the chapter, I believe Luke gives us the answer.
“At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place…”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭42‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Why did He routinely retreat to a solitary place to be alone?  He wasn’t alone at all!  In fact He was spending time with the Father!  Over and over we see Him do this throughout the Gospels!  How did He keep going?  He pressed into the Father and drew on strength from the Holy Spirit!  As He responds to Satans temptations, after literally nearly starving to death for 40 days - He responds only with the Word of God!  It came out of Him in those moments because that’s what was in Him!  It’s what He was made of!

Press in to Him through the Word!  Bulk up, those spiritual muscles you got!  Love you all!
