Critics who question the Bible and its validity are overlooking many undisputed truths.  

One of these truths is this: Christians were intensely persecuted for their beliefs by the Jews and the Roman Government.  They were tortured and even put to death using incredibly horrific methods.   In fact John was the only disciple believed to have died of natural causes.  All they had to do was quit talking about Jesus… simple.   But they couldn’t!!!  The Truth was oozing out of them because they lived it!  For them it was like something you have witnessed that you just HAVE to tell everyone about.
“Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!  As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”  Acts 4:18-20
“So what”, critics say… “what does that prove?”
Let me ask you a question.  Would you willingly die for what you believed to be true?  Maybe…
Would you be willing to die for something you doubted or knew was a lie?  
Absolutely not!!!
Their commitment and faith - even unto death proves something!  They saw and they believed!!!
The opposition made every effort to destroy their ministry and refute what they were 
teaching.  This continues even today, yet not a single claim in Scripture has EVER been refuted.  If it had - it would be all over the news.  You know that’s true!
If there was proof out there, that what they were teaching was false, critics would have found it and propagated it by now.  
On the contrary - the deeper they dig the more support they find!
