Exodus 31

Good Morning “Called and Equipped.”  Today we are in Exodus 31.

In today’s chapter we get an amazing example of God “equipping the called.”  Remember God doesn’t “call the equipped,” He “equips the called”.  Perhaps as you’ve been reading about the construction of the Tabernacle and all of its intricacies, you’ve wondered how will they go about making such things.  Laying gold over wood… that would be difficult for the average person today and we have modern tools.  How would they do it in the middle of the desert?

The answer… God has already equipped those He has called to do it.  They may not even know it yet.  “and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭31‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬. Never doubt Gods ability to use you for the “good work” He’s prepared for you!  You may have skills you don’t even know about until you step out in obedience.

The sign of the Noahic Covenant (God will never again destroy the earth by water) was the rainbow.  The sign of the Abrahamic Covenant was circumcision.  Now God reminds Moses of the Sabbath Law and furthermore institutes it as a sign of the Mosaic Covenant.  As Long as the Covenant with Israel remains in affect so does the Sabbath Law.

Although the Messiah has come and fulfilled The Law for Believers, Israel is still observing the covenant.  As you may remember!from the Revelation study, that is the reason for The Tribulation yet to come.

Remember Salvation = Service for Jesus.  A living Sacrifice.  Never doubt His ability to use you!  Love you all!  Dig in!
