Good Morning “Revelers of Gods Creation.” Today we start the Old Testament - Genesis 1.
Our universe is so intricate is absurd to think it all just happened. Some would say that statement is close minded - I say it’s just logical. We easily recognize creation when we see it. Consider a piece of simple printer paper. What if you found it laying on the trail in the forest? Despite being surrounded by trees, the material needed for literally billions of pieces of paper, you would never assume that time, pressure, chance harvested the tree pulp and produced the sheet you find. You would know… someone produced this - it had a creator. It doesn’t get much more simple than a piece of paper. Or what about a pencil in the forest, or a shard of bottle glass on the beach… now consider a wine glass. You get my point. We see very simple things and KNOW they were created… Why would we look at the intricacies we see in all of creation and believe it just happened? Not logical, not likely, mathematically impossible in fact.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2 NIV
God created! You get that?
“And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
Genesis 1:3 NIV
This is the 1st day. Where’d the light come from? If you read on you’ll notice God did not create the “lights in the sky” until day 4.
Question: What is the true source of light? Hint - we just read about it in Revelation 21.
In contrast to the New Heaven and New Earth we just read about in Revelation- God created the Earth as water to begin with. Read on in Genesis 1 and you’ll see.
Dig in guys! Know Gods Word! Love you all!
