Hebrews 7

Good Morning “Completely Saved”.  Today we are in Hebrews 7.

Completely saved… what does that mean?  In Chapter 7 the writer continues to explain to the Jewish Believers, and all readers to follow, why Jesus is THE High Priest.  Once and for all.  No more is there a need for the High Priest to enter the Holy of Holies, “behind the curtain” to offer sacrifices for his sin and the sins of the people.  Those sacrifices while demonstrating their faith only temporarily covered sin.  They were never sufficient to PAY for their sin once and for all! However; we now have a permanent High Priest, who will never pass away, that through His once and for all sacrifice paid the price for all sin permanently - completely!

“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

He paid for our sin, and now intercedes daily on our behalf.  What does that mean?  It’s like He is our defense attourney.  As Satan comes to accuse He stands in our defense.

“Look at his sin”, Satan may say…

“Nope, I paid for that,” Jesus says!

“What about that one”?

“I paid for that one too,” He says!
“I paid for them ALL!”

So in that God sees us through Jesus, Holy and Pure.  Praise the Lord!

Dig in deep!  Love you all!
