Good Morning “Spirit Renewed”. Today we wrap up Titus with chapter 3.
Paul reminds Titus that there was a time when they too were foolish and disobedient. We all come from somewhere and were all sinners - still are. We are all saved by Grace - period. There is none righteous apart from Christ - none.
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
Titus 3:4-7 NIV
Never forget that although our good works may demonstrate we are saved… they do not save us! It’s only Jesus, it’s ALL Jesus - who washed us clean and renewed us by His Holy Spirit.
As we purpose to love others well, with the Truth of Jesus - we must remember from where we have come. We too struggled, and struggle still.
