Galatians 3

Good Morning “One in Christ”!  Dig into Galatians 3 today!

Paul continues to address the purpose of the law and the means by which we must be saved.  The purpose of the law was never to save, but to define and incite sin.  Jesus Christ was promised long before the law was given.  The law did not somehow erase Gods promise, it doesn’t work like that.  On the contrary the law simply defined an even greater need for The Savior.

Paul continues to reiterate to the Galatian churches that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus.  The rejection of Jesus by His own, the Jews, opened the door for salvation to the Gentiles (everyone else).

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭26‬-‭29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is because of His mercy that we should be willing sacrifices for Him.  Romans 12:1

Love you all!  Dig in!
