2 Corinthians 13

Good Morning “Recipients of Gods Love and Peace.”  Today we wrap up 2 Corinthians with chapter 13.

As Paul wraps up his letter he leaves them with a few last encouraging words - words for them, but also for us to apply.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

- First, rejoice!!!! Rejoice because you are redeemed through the blood of Jesus.  We should bare an attitude of rejoicing continually.

- Strive for full restoration!  We were all sinners.  Our sin separates us from God.  Through the blood of Jesus we are restored to God.  We should strive, aim for, desire, complete restoration - both with Him and in our fractured relationships with each other.  All in with Him!!!

- Encourage one another - “Let us consider how we might spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Sometimes that might look like cheerleading, sometimes it’s a rebuke.

- Be of one mind.  The mind of Christ is the only mind we should be on the same page with.  We’ve gotta be in the Word, know It and know Him through it if we are going to think like Jesus.  We all have to be in It if we’re going to be of one mind.

- “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:18 Blessed are the Peacekeepers… it should be our goal to not stir up trouble but to keep the peace.  Sometimes in our world this will not be possible.  “If it is possible…”

God will never leave us or forsake us.

Love you all!  Dig in!
