Esther 4

Good Morning “Right Where You’re Supposed to Be.”  Today we are in Esther 4.

Have you ever wondered why you live where you live?  Why your life or situations are the way they are?   “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Everything about you: beginning with life and breath (Acts 17:25), your salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9), all of your blessings, even your talents and gifts -  God had given to you for His purposes (Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Corinthians 4:7).

Remember when I said Satan was coming… but God is always 10 steps ahead?  As we read yesterday, and now today’s chapter, we begin to see why God positioned Esther where He did.   Mordecai refused to bow and worship Haman.  Haman begins to plot to put Mordecai on a post - literally.  Haman learns he’s a Jew, turns up the heat on his plot, and decides all the Jews should die.

Mordecai realizes that no one is better positioned to go before the king to plead for Israel than Esther.  With the authority he has as her adopted father - he urges Esther to use her influence with the king.   Esther knows this is risky business.  To go before the king without an invitation could mean death.

With much faith Esther concludes Mordecai is correct.  She requests that all of the Jews fast and pray for 3 days. “When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” Esther‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are you ready?  God has placed you and has begun and continues to prepare you.  If not just now, a time or times will come in which you too will need to come to terms with the reality that perhaps “…you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”  Esther‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Love you all!  Dig in!
