Esther 3

Good Morning “Remember-ers of the Battle We Are In.”  Today we are in Esther 3.  

God’s moving.  He’s placed Esther, a Jewish girl in place as Queen of Persia.  He’s positioned Mordecai and Esther both to receive favor from the king by foiling the plot to assassinate the king. Remember these pieces God has put in place.  Here comes Satan.

Satan is always working to destroy Gods people and His plans, but never fear - God is 10 steps (or more) ahead.  Good and evil are not equal and opposite.  Opposite yes, far from equal (1 John 1:5-7).  God is always in total control - He is sovereign over all (Jeremiah 32:17)

Satan only has power as God grants it - to accomplish His purpose (Job 1:6-12, Job 2:1-2, 4-6).  Satan is simply a tool that God uses to accomplish His work.  Notice who takes credit for Jobs’ testing - as Satan comes to test Job a 2nd time (Job 2:3).

Does that bother you?  God also works through sinful people, because ALL people sin (Romans 3:23) - that’s all He has to work with.  God is able to use the sinner despite their sin - to accomplish His good work.  Only God!  

So then, does using the sinful make God participant in sin?  Absolutely NOT.  He simply uses and directs the tools as they are.  God is totally separate from sin.  Each person sins as a result of the temptation created by his own internal evil desire (James 1:14-15).  

This side of Heaven we will likely never TOTALLY reconcile that in our limited minds… that’s ok.  His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).  Stand in AWE and PRAISE Him.  If we could figure Him out He wouldn’t be worthy of our worship.  Cling to what you KNOW…
