Good Morning “Safe from the Avenger of Blood.” Today we are in Joshua 20.
Satan would love nothing more than to convince us that we are already convicted and condemned. It’s a lie that unfortunately far too many believe. Why would I turn to Jesus if I was already convinced that His mercy and Grace wasn’t for me?
The truth is - it is for you. You and your sin is not too much for the grace of Jesus. His payment on The Cross was/is sufficient to pay for ALL sin. He conquered sin and death. For the one that receives His payment, “There is no longer condemnation…” Romans 8:1.
Satan constantly accusers us to God The Father - fighting for our soul (Revelation 12:10-12). Yet, our Savior stands in the gap for us as our mediator. ”For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people...“ 1 Timothy 2:5-6 NIV
Praise the Lord we are not condemned but can find refuge in Him. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
