2 Chronicles 35

Good Morning “Never Opposed to God.”  Today we are in 2 Chronicles 35.

When Josiah heard The Law read - he repented of his sin and mourned the sin Judah.  That repentance led to a cleaning up of Judah.  He served The Lord well.  

Some respond in the opposite manner. We’ll soon read about Jehoiakim, Josiah’s son.  When he was read The Law, he sought to kill Jeremiah the prophet messenger (Jeremiah 36:21-26).  He did evil in the eyes of The Lord.  

How do we respond when we hear The Truth of Gods Word?  If it’s Truth we already know and understand that’s one thing… we’re likely in agreement.  But, what about when it’s something we’ve understood differently in the past, or something new to us - we never realized before?  How do we responded when it’s convicting, shining a light on a new area of sin in our life?  Hopefully we respond like Josiah and not Jehoiakim.
