1 Chronicles 14

Good Morning “Victors of Those Who Stand Against You.”  Today we are in 1 Chronicles 14.

Check out this chapter.  It’s abundantly clear God is moving and warring for David.  He miraculously gives him victory over the Philistines.  Even moving an evil king to provide materials for David’s home.

We are in a battle, a spiritual battle - for our minds and our souls.  The greatest battle we face is not fought with traditional weapons. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) Instead it’s fought with the Word of God.  Satans always been about causing us to question The Word and our Father while at the same time feeding us an alternative.  Something that “sounds” good.  His tactics are not new (Genesis 3).

“… Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if Satans servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭11‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭

The evil one does not come waiving his evil flag, presenting himself as evil… no he comes in ways that appear good.  He’s clothed in words like tolerance, sensitivity, appropriation, inclusion, and even - love.  Please hear me, these ideas, and the words in and of themselves are not necessarily bad.  No, the problem is our society, over time, has changed the meanings of much of our language - to serve a woke agenda.  Much of our world has taken the bait.  Even many church’s have begun to blend such ideologies and somehow come up with and new morphed gospel that is really no gospel at all. (Galatians 1:7-9)

His Word is the key.  When we fall away from it, we have no Hope.  We distance ourselves from our God who has the power to demolish strongholds.  When our knowledge of Scripture is weak, our power to discern is weak.  When we live by The Word of God our eyes are opened, deception is conquered and our Lord prevails.  (Psalm 119:105, Joshua 1:8-9, Romans 12:2, Hebrews 4:12).

He’s given us all we need, we only need to press into Him and His Word. “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Love you all!  Dig in!
