Good Morning “Choosers of Blessing or Cursing.” Today we are in 1 Kings 9.
God is so GOOD! So good in fact that He makes His instructions very clear. Over and over. Do this and I will respond like this. Don’t do this and I will respond like this. This is not the first time God has made His commands clear for The King and / or for all of Israel. He makes it very simple… repeatedly.
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
He continues through the New Testament and in fact we see His repeated pleas for the lost to repent, even in prophecy of The Tribulation. From creation to Tribulation we are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20, Revelation 14:6). His incredible Mercy and Grace cannot be denied.
If you’ve been following along daily with us, and reading these morning blogs you’re likely thinking… “Why is Jason going there again.” Hey… wait, don’t shoot the messenger. God went there AGAIN… I’m just retelling it. The Truth is THE most important issue at hand is what have you done with Jesus. If you’ve received His Mercy and Grace, payment for your sin… are you living for Him? There is NOTHING more important than that.
Fact: You have to fight pretty hard, stay pretty focused on resisting to find yourself facing a Godless eternity (Hebrews 2:1-4). This theme is repeated so often because He loves you! I repeat it so often because I do too! Why fight for your flesh when it leads to spiritual death. If you get to the point that you’re ready to quit resisting - reach out. I’d love to help.
Love you all! Dig in!
