Good Morning “Righteous Projects.” Today we are in Ezekiel 42.
One of my side hustles these days is house plan drafting. The last few chapters have included enough detail that I feel like I could sit down and draft a set of plans for this Temple. Oh, if only homeowners could give me this much detail when trying to get their ideas across.
Gods EVERYTHING is so specific, leaving nothing to question. Such is His Word. If we would only read, and study His Word we would be left with no question regarding how to live Biblically. The problem as I see it is… we try to somehow mesh His Word with what our flesh wants - what The World accepts, rather than simply take it as it is and live it!
Look, we stumble and fall enough, and will continue to do so without trying to split hairs, walk the line, somehow look for loopholes. Submit to Him and His Word and Live. Jesus paid for those stumbles - Thank God! We are ONLY made Holy, Righteous through His blood (Colossians 1:21-23).
There will come a day when we will all stand before Him! God has laid out the blue print! The expectation is we participate in the building process of our temple. He’s given enough detail for us to “get it right”. I am thankful that Jesus is not just the Author of our faith and salvation but the Perfecter of it (Hebrews 12:2-3). We submit, but He does the building (Philippians 1:6).
