Jeremiah 47

Good Morning “Refreshed”.  Today we are in Jeremiah 47.

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God keeps His promises… how many times have we said that - as we have studied Jeremiah.  I started with Gods promise to Abraham, because today’s chapter is evidence of Gods faithfulness to His promise regarding Israel.

From the time Israel entered the “Promised Land” until her exile, the Philistines were relentless in their pursuit to destroy Israel.  Gods Character will not allow Him to go back on His Word, nor allow Him to leave sin unchecked.

Sin must be paid for.  Our sin too (Romans 3:23).

Say it with me “The wages of sin is ________________. But the gift of God is ____________________ in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

That is Good News! Jesus paid it all!  The payment required for ALL sin has been satisfied.  He has made a New Covenant with His people, and remember… He is Faithful (Hebrews 10:9-18). Praise The Lord that, with our repentance, our sins are wiped out and we get to experience times of refreshing in The Lord rather than judgment (Acts 3:19).  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus praise His Holy Name!

Love you all!  Dig in!
