Good Morning “Livers of Each Day for Jesus.” Today we are in Ecclesiastes 8.
Yesterday we talked about living each day for The Lord, storing up treasures in Heaven. We have zero idea how much more time we have to get serious about serving Jesus (Romans 12:1).
“Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come? As no one has power over the wind to contain it, so no one has power over the time of their death.”
Ecclesiastes 8:7-8a NIV
Solomon notes that sometimes the wicked seem to prosper why the righteous suffer. “There is something else meaningless that occurs on earth: the righteous who get what the wicked deserve, and the wicked who get what the righteous deserve. This too, I say, is meaningless.” Ecclesiastes 8:14 NIV
While sin reigns on the earth, things are out of order… but not for long! He is coming back and will set all things right. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV
The time is now. Do not delay. Many will be deceived into believing there is more time to repent. More time to get serious about Jesus.
