Good Morning “Quiver Fillers.” Today we are in Psalm 127.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”

Nearly 30 years ago, led of The Lord, Jodi and I founded Faith Custom Homes. It was ALL God. He did it through us… plain and simple. His guidance, wisdom, and knowledge was essential then… it’s still essential now. Through the years we’ve learned the hard way… when God is at the center of a project it’s an amazing experience. When He’s not… well… it seems like we as the builder’s labor in vain. It’s REALLY True!
Solomon the wisest man to ever live gets it! Gods gotta be the center of EVERYTHING! Children are a gift from God, and… they are WAY more likely to behave as such when raised according to, and taught His Word. Embrace the world’s ideologies and, well… they may seem more like a curse than a blessing (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
It’s really very simple. Gods Word, the most reliable Book in all of history (proven such by secular standards, not religious standards), makes it very clear. With The Lord, His ways, His guidance, and His wisdom… success (Joshua 1:8). Without Him… ummm… not so much (Proverbs 16:3, 19:21, 21:30).
Our sin separates us from God (Romans 3:23, 6:23). Through the blood of Jesus we can be reconciled to God (Romans 5:8, 10:9, 2 Corinthians 5:18). By the Holy Spirit in us, we have direct access to daily counsel from the One who designed it all, made it all, sustains it all, is sovereign over it all and knows all (John 14:16). Why on earth would anyone choose to go it alone?
