Psalm 113

Good Morning “Humbly Submitted, Constant Worshipers.”  Today we are in Psalm 113.

“The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

He stoops down to look on the earth… where does that position us?  If He’s stopping down… shouldn’t we be looking up?

“From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬

According to the Psalmist, we should be praising Him from the time we get up until we go to bed.  The insinuation is - constantly.  Where else have we heard that? (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Joshua 1:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We ought be constantly, humbly submitted to Him.  He’s not impressed with a, no Lord “I got this”, attitude.  No, on the contrary… the one who is humbly submitted - He lifts up (James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:6-7).

“He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Gods formula: submission and humility = exaltation.  He does the exalting.  Totally contrary to the twisted way of thinking Satan has deceived the world with.

Love you all!  Dig in!
