Psalm 104

Good Morning “Observers of Creation.”  Today we are in Psalm 104.

Anyone who has logically observed creation must come to the conclusion that there has to be A Creator.  Stop and think, one would never look at a painting, even hundreds of years old and question its origin.  We know it had a creator.  The same is true for architecture - buildings made from things that came out of the earth.  Perhaps enough time; millions, even billions of years and the impact of weather, water, pressure could have naturally formed the amazing structures?  What about a simple flint arrowhead.  One piece of stone, simply eroded into a point… come on? People hunt them because of the potential history behind the creator.  None of it by chance… No one could assume or suggest such a thing.

Yet, against our natural inclination, the Truth written on our hearts, we have been conditioned to question.  Some even believe, that ALL of Creation, the Cosmos, all of its intricacies and variations…somehow came about by time and chance.  That something came from nothing.  That at some point in time things moved from a state of disorder to order.  The assumption is that it all sustains its self… Not only do we have to check logic at the door but science, and what we know of the laws of physics.  It simply DOES NOT add up.

Here the Psalmist recounts Gods Creation of all that we know.  He goes deeper.  He speaks of Gods sustaining power over EVERYTHING!  The wild animals, man, all life on earth eats from His hand.

“All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time. When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.” Psalms‬ ‭104‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Their thirst is quenched by the rain He brings.  They are warmed by the sun He directs… He’s THAT intimately involved in His creation!  Frankly THAY’S much easier and much more logical to believe than “it all just happened.”

We naturally assume a creator when we observe some of the most basic things, yet are told “It just happened” with the most complex intricacies we know… life.

Love you all!  Dig in! Marvel at His hand in it ALL!
