Esther 10

Good Morning “Tools For The Lord.”  Today we wrap up Esther with short chapter 10.

Mom… Pastor Jason called me a tool.  Ummm… sorry, I did.  In fact if you are humbly submitted to The Lord you too can be a tool (Romans 12:1, 2 Corinthians 5:20).  In fact it’s why we were created and beckoned to Jesus by The King of Kings and Lord of Lords (John 6:44, Ephesians 2:8-10).

Mordecai was nothing special.  What made him special was the work God did in and through him to accomplish His work.  His humble, submissive, obedient heart positioned him to be used by God.  The same is true for Esther.  Frankly the same is true for every champion of The Faith we read about in the Bible.  Mordecai understood that both he and Esther were created with purpose, perfectly timed by God.  He understood the principle of Ephesians 2:10 long before it was ever penned by Paul.  Jesus was the perfect model for us to follow in this regard (Philippians 2:1-9).

What’s your story?  If these were Biblical times would God use yours as an example for generations to follow?  The Word of God is complete, make no mistake.  There is no additional writing to come… nevertheless we ARE living in Biblical times.  The story continues.  We’ve already studied how it all ends.  What part will you play in the unfolding?

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Love you all!  Dig in!
