Luke 17

Good Morning “Good Ambassadors”. Check out Luke 17.

Someone is always watching.  These days, especially with social media, our lives are on display for all to see.  What are we showing others by the way we live and the things we are about?  What do others feel permitted to do because they see us (Christian’s ) doing it?  Are we an encouragement for others to press into Jesus or do we lead them further away?  Do our lives contradict, divide, Gods people or unite?  It’s really something we should be conscious of.  Jesus takes our witness seriously even if we don’t.

“Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are considered His children (John 1:12).  True children of God will spend eternity with Him.  Amen!  We like that part!  As children of God we should look and act like it!  He should be reflected in us!  In fact that’s the expectation (2 Corinthians 5:11-20). We don’t like that part quite as much.

As children of God we are called to shine in this dark world to be a beacon of light - an ambassador of Jesus as though He were making His plea through us.

How are we doing?  How are you doing?

Love you all!  Dig in and live it out!
