Good Morning “Grace Choosers”.
Today we are in Zephaniah 2.
As I said yesterday, Zephaniah prophesied during Judahs darkest hour. During the reign of Judahs most evil kings; Manasseh, and Amon. But then something happened. A king that actually heeded the warnings. A king that came and turned things on their head and lead Judah back to worship of The One True God.
Zephaniah prophesied concerning The Day of The Lord. The impending judgment on all the nations rebelling against God, rejecting His Word and refusing to repent. There is no where to hide. From sea to shore. God knows and sees all (Psalm 139:7)! No one will be spared short of their repentance. Zephaniah used the promised end, to turn Judah back to The Lord during their present. But, He is coming (Acts 17:30-32).
They had a choice to make, as do we. His Way or our way. His Grace, or His wrath. One promises life eternal in paradise. One promises suffering, death, and more suffering for the rest of forever. The choice seems clear (Ezekiel 18:23). We can choose the wrath for our sins for eternity, or receive the payment Jesus already made for them. Believe, confess, repent, and live (Romans 6:23, 5:8, 10:9; Acts 3:19; Romans 8:1).
Love you all! Dig in and live it out!
