Good Morning “Worshipers”. Today we are in Ezekiel 46.
“When the people of the land come before the Lord at the appointed festivals, whoever enters by the north gate to worship is to go out the south gate; and whoever enters by the south gate is to go out the north gate. No one is to return through the gate by which they entered, but each is to go out the opposite gate.” Ezekiel 46:9 NIV
We’ve read the specifics of the layout of The Millennial Temple… now another little tidbit that paints a more vivid picture of those coming to worship at appointed times, coming to catch a glimpse of The Glory of The Lord. There will be A LOT of people to manage! Given the sheer size of the Temple Courts and now the clear directing of traffic flow… estimates have been made in the hundreds and hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions. The description of “outdoor kitchens” for the purpose of preparing all of the sacrificed further indicates the priests are gonna have their hands FULL (vs 23-24).
Is sit with a gitty smile on my face as I write this! Oh what a day that will be!!!
If only we had to design our church’s, taking into consideration the CROWD! How will we direct and manage the hundreds of thousands who will come to worship The Lord? They’re out there - go get em (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20)!
