Good Morning “Living it Out at All Cost.” Today we are in Acts 21.
Living for Jesus can be tough sometimes. The world’s temptations can cause quite a struggle with our flesh when we are not dialed in with Jesus, Holy Spirit and The Word (Joshua 1:8; Ephesians 6:10-18). We might even be persecuted. But… frankly, we don’t know struggle and persecution as it relates to Paul.
Paul has been told there is danger in Jerusalem. He’s been urged not to go. “Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.””
Acts 21:13 NIV
It wasn’t just talk, they still went, and yes Paul was arrested. Yes he was beaten severely! Have you ever been so committed to a cause you were truly ready to die for it? How about for the Gospel? How about simply to continue to spread the Gospel - maybe to those who have already rejected it?
