Mark 12

Good Morning “Everything Givers.”  Today we are in Mark 12

Jesus came to His own but was rejected by them.  Quoting Psalm 118 He puts the exclamation point on The Parable of the Tenants. “Haven’t you read this passage of Scripture: “ ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’ ?”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Given His love for us (1 John 4:19) we ought to love Him with all of our “heart and with all our soul and with all of our mind and with all our strength.’ We should also Love out neighbor as ourselves’.  There is no commandment greater than these.” Paraphrase from Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sure… I love Jesus.  But do we?  Consider true love for a minute.  Love puts the other before yourself.  Do we put Jesus and His Word before our flesh?  Most of us would willingly give our lives for the ones we love… are we willing to give up our life for Jesus (Romans 12:1; Matthew 16:25).  Make it simple.  What does loving Jesus look like?  Jesus tells us plainly in John 15:14-21.  Check it out.

What does He ask - ALL that we have, that’s all!  It’s ALL His anyway (Acts 17:25).  Check out the heart of the Widow at the end of Mark 12.  Check it all out

Love you all!  Dig in and live it out!
