Deuteronomy 26

Good Morning “Thankful, Obedient, Sharers”.  Today we are in Deuteronomy 26.

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can… remember the story of “The Little Train That Could”.  Now I don’t want to get all “Self Talk” on you.  I wouldn’t preach “Believing in yourself,” but I would preach believe in the One who is in you!

Giving God praise is the process of recognizing and acknowledging who He is and what He’s done - and proclaiming it!  God is about to bless with all He has promised.  As Israel takes possession of the “Promised Land” they are to “Remember”, always, all that The Lord God has done.  While they are planting and harvesting and obeying all that the Lord has commanded, as a part, they are to be setting aside a portion for the Tithe.  Even in their labors they are to be constantly remembering others, and recognizing that God blesses them so they can in turn bless others.

They are to take their “first fruits”, the BEST, selected from their harvest and present them at the Temple.  Notice, as they present them at the Temple they DO NOT say, “Here is a gift I worked so hard for”.  REMEMBER, we can do NOTHING apart from Him (John 15).  ”But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth…”.
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

So… we say it!  Acknowledge Him, Praise Him in all things!  ALWAYS remain focused on Him, His blessing, and why He is blessing!

Proverbs 3:5-6

Love you all!  Dig in!  Praise Him always!
