Good Morning “Recognizers That God Establishes Nations.” Today we are in Deuteronomy 2.
As Moses recounts Israel’s journeys it becomes apparent that the Nations that exist, do so as a result Gods hand of blessing, and protection. Those that have been conquered have been conquered at Gods hand as well. God promised lands to some like Esau and Lot, and God keeps His promises.
Remember He’s the same - always. ”Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.“
Romans 13:1 NIV
Sometimes God puts leaders in place to discipline a nation for disobedience (King Saul) - other times for blessing. (King David)
What does this have to do with us? It’s interesting to consider where we find ourselves at different points in history regarding our countries leadership. Is God blessing us or disciplining us? I have my opinion.
