Good Morning “Faithfully Bold.” Today we are in Esther 7.
Here she goes! Esther is right where she’s at for “such a time as this!” In Faith, she boldly presents her request to the King. “Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life—this is my petition. And spare my people—this is my request.” Esther 7:3 NIV
Maintaining all humility and respect, not knowing how the King or Haman will respond but, trusting God - she speaks. Notice how careful and specific her words are. Not just asking for her life but the lives of her people! It’s as if God gave her just the right words.
But is that possible? Does God do that as we boldly speak?
“On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.” Matthew 10:18-20 NIV.
Admittedly Jesus is speaking about times of persecution here. Check it out though… witnessing is simply testifying to what you have experienced. As we are commanded to do exactly that, (Matthew 28:18-20) isn’t reasonable to expect that He will also give us the words - as we give witness to His Power and Glory? Anyone who’s ever submitted to The Holy Spirit, and then stepped up to deliver a message- has likely experienced The Spirit taking over.
I believe it’s crazy to be worried about what you will say. If you are prayed up, dialed in, and submitted to Him… He’ll do the talking. You just open your mouth in faith.
Love you all! Dig in!
