UnfoldingWord is unlocking Bible translation so local church networks can quickly, accurately and inexpensively translate Scripture into their own languages.
We envision a world where everyone, everywhere has a Bible in their own language, without copyright restrictions and for free. Sadly, many church leaders around the world learn too late that even if they are able to complete a translation, they may be barred from legally disseminating it due to copyright restrictions.
UnfoldingWord is collaborating with other Bible ministries to provide unrestricted, open-source Biblical content, technology tools and training resources to equip the global church for Bible translation and discipleship.
All content is made available under an open license. Everyone who uses it is free to share, copy, build upon and redistribute the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, even commercially, with attribution.
