Good Morning “Glory Seekers… Gods Glory that is.” Today we are in Ezekiel 43.
Gods Glory will once again fill the Temple. In the Millennial Kingdom He will return to the Temple through the same gate He left - The East Gate (Ezekiel 10).
“… I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.” Ezekiel 43:2 NIV
Imagine THIS scene. For now, that’s all we can do… imagine. Nothing in our experience can compare to what Ezekiel sees here. God is light! His Glory is breathtaking, jaw dropping, to say the least. His Glory lights up the whole earth!
I know what you’re thinking… what about the sun. Ummm remember God said “Let there be light” on the first day… (Genesis 1:3-5). He did not create the sun, moon and stars until the 4th (Genesis 1:14-19). Wait… where did the light come from if not the sun? Right? GOD, The Son! In fact there will be no sun in Heaven for Jesus, The Son will light it up (Isaiah 60:19-20, Revelation 21:23, 22:5)! We all know the sun is too bright to look at directly… it’ll burn your eyes out! Imagine the Glory of The Son, Who is its source.
Remember Gods response when Moses wanted to see God? No one can see His Glory and live… not with our earthly limitations at least (Exodus 33:19-23).
We were created for His Glory! There will come a day… oh what a day that will be!
