Good Morning not who you once were.  Dig into Acts 26.

Paul is now standing in defense before King Agrippa.  Once again, Paul is not really defending himself but sharing his testimony and the Truth of Jesus.   After reading through Acts and the way Paul and the his team have served the kingdom,  you kind of forget where Paul came from.  Reading his testimony again is kind of mind blowing.  His transformation is really quite incredible - definitely not who he used to be.

Truthfully none of us are who we were before our encounter with Jesus.  “I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer me who lives but Christ who lives in me.” Galatians 2:20

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Paul gets it.  He has submitted fully to Gods plan and the Holy Spirit in him.  It’s not about us trying to do, it’s about us getting out of the way and letting the Holy Spirit reign through us.  We do that by saying no to what our flesh wants.  Check out how Peter puts it,

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.””
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We cannot be Holy… it is only Him in us that is Holy.  We are one with Him.  Remember it’s not your good works that save you but they do demonstrate you’re saved.

Love you all!  Dig in!
