Good Morning “Cannot Imagine the Horror.” Today we are in 2 Kings 7.
Gods promises are True! As I’ve said before, if He said it you can count on it! His Grace, and Mercy are on full display for those that turn away from sin and turn to Him - all throughout Scripture. All of Scripture is the story of Gods redemption of man through the Blood of Jesus - you can’t get more loving than that. However; reject Him, go your own way, choose sin over righteousness and His wrath which is ALSO promised remains.
In fact this chapter was prophesied back in Deuteronomy 28:53-. Check it out. This chapter is evidence of how deep man can descend into sin when it is left unchecked. Deeper and deeper, to the point that eventually the people are unwilling to share the flesh of their own children as they eat… absolutely nauseatingly disgusting. It happened. Here is the real picture of sin. Sin isn’t all the enticing fun that the world and the Evil One has convinced us it is. It is a path to Horror.
Choose Jesus. Choose righteousness! His Way leads to life John 14:6. Be disgusted, nauseated, and saddened by this chapter. Soak it in. Let it be a reminder to you of sins path.
