Isaiah 27

Good Morning “Fruitful”
Today we are in Isaiah 27.

In keeping with Isaiah’s Prophecy regarding the Millennial Kingdom, Isaiah picks up a missing link.  The evil one, the serpent of old, the snake, Leviathan must be dealt with.  Never forget, when God is ready, He wins!  Frankly there was never a battle at all.  Good and evil may be opposite, but they have never been equal as the ying and the yang suggests.  Satan is allowed to deceive FOR A TIME… all a part of The Plan of God.

“He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Fruitless Israel, that Isaiah describes in Isaiah 5, once exiled Israel, will return to produce fruit.  The Vinedresser will bring the best out of Her.  He does the same with us (John 15:1-12)

We fill our lives with so many things.  We are all very busy.  Sometimes they’re not even bad things in and of themselves, in fact they may be “good”.

Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).  He appears good, and can suggest even inherently “good” things to make us too busy to be fruitful.  Notice in John 15:2 the Vinedresser cuts off every branch that bears no fruit.  The verse says nothing of those branches being bad… they’re simply fruitless.  Then how do we know when, where and how to be involved?

Jesus in John states it plainly, “If you love me, keep my commands.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬  As we remain in Him and He in us, living according to His Word - we will bear much fruit.  Apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5)… there’s the key.  Us in His Word, living according to It, remaining in Him sorts it all out (Romans 12:2).

Love you all!  Dig in!
